The Titanic on C-SPAN

April 13, 2012

With the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, check out the C-SPAN Video Library programs on the Titanic. On April 14, American History TV featured a centennial reappraisal by author Samuel Halpern. Previous programs include a 1998 program from the 86th anniversary. Watch this to compare what we have learned in the last fourteen years. Another author discussed his book with deep-sea divers. This book is The Titanic’s Last Secrets. Robert Ballard, an underseas explorer, spoke to the National Press Club about his work and discovery of the wreckage. You might be surprised at how many different topics you can research in the C-SPAN Video Library because of its extensive coverage of books and history.
